Logan is Nine

Logan is nine. Can you believe it? We went to Chucky Cheese for his birthday. His very good friend Tanner was there alone with a lot of family and friends. I made him a Star Wars cake and put trick candles on it. He was a very good sport with the candles. It is official he is no longer my little baby.

Lilly is 3

Yes it is true my baby is 3. I can tell you that I am not very happy about it. Maybe if she acted like a 3 year old and not a 6 year old that would help.

We had a lot of fun for her Birthday. Our friend Cindy from "Bubble The Fun" let us use one of her bubble machines. The kids had fun running though the bubbles and I think it played in well with the Tinker Bell theme.

Lilly was funny when I sat her at the table to do her cupcakes. Not everyone was ready right away and she keep saying sing me Happy Birthday.

It was a fun day and Lilly felt very special all day.

Ohhhh Sooo early

Well the Kids had lots of fun Easter morning. Lilly was up so early. She crawled into bed with us and we waited for the other kids to wake up. Next was Logan a few hours later, still very early. Finally I went into lay down with Katy. I told her I had to lay down with her because the other kids were bugging me about hunting for their baskets. That woke her up.

Logan found Katy's Basket right away, then he helped Lilly find hers and then had no problem finding his own. I think next year the Easter Bunny better hide them harder.

Lilly was so funny when she was going though her basket. She wanted me to take a picture of everything she pulled out. She keep saying "Take a picture of Dis".

Katy loved the baskets. At one point she said that it was like Christmas but with baskets.

Once the indoor egg hunt I helped Lilly and we all had lots of fun searching. If we could just convince them not to wake up until 8am we would have a perfect Holiday.

Katy's Class Zoo Trip

Katy got to go to the Zoo in Waco with her class. We were so excited that Katy's best friend, Trisha was in our group. We were a bit rushed but we saw all the animals and had fun doing it.

While Uncle Charlie was down for Christmas he taught Logan to shoot. Logan did really good beating most of the men in the house and tying Pawpa for the closest to the center.

Christmas Show

Katy performed in her 1st grade Holiday show today.

We had a hard time coming up with something to wear. She had to wear jeans and a white, red, or green shirt. I looked in her closet the day before and pulled out her jeans and then proceeded to go though all her pink and purple shirts. We finally found a turtle neck that goes with a dress that doesn't fit her yet. Although it was kinda big on her it was nice because it was white and 90% of the kids wore red.

A few days ago Katy gave up her speaking part for a dancing part. I was upset because I love theater and could not understand why she would do that. It turned out to be a good thing. She was happy and not grumpy. I love how proud she was after she got done dancing. That made everything OK in Mommy's book.

Lilly and Katy keep waving at each other. When they were in between songs you could hear Lilly saying "That Gaw Gaw, Hi Gaw Gaw!". Then she would go into "where Wo Wo? I don't see Wo Wo. Where Wo Wo go.". Thank goodness that Steven was there to take Lilly so I could get pictures.
